Same thing happened to me last summer, although not quite as dramatically. It was "the summer of the pendant necklace" for me (much as this year was "the summer of the elastic-waist skirt") and I managed to develop a tan with a light spot right in the center of my upper chest because every time I was out in the sun I was wearing one of my pendants. It's fortunate indeed that particular pendant works well with your wardrobe, and it <i>is</i> gorgeous. But... might I suggest the judicious application of <i>sunblock</i> in the future?
