[...] Where do you create?About 10 years ago, we finished our basement complete with an additional bedroom. That bedroom has become my “metals” studio. The craft area that was made for the kids has become my polymer clay studio. I have taken pictures and they can be seen here: http://libzoid.net/blog/2008/03/31/studio-snapshot-janice-abarbanel/ [...]

No way - that's a riot! Considering my oldest is now 17 and that's her "artwork" I guess I've committed to leaving it up there! As far as the studio pictures, you can't see the wall, but in my polymer area I also have an "inspiration" wall. Various artists' postcards of their work (including yours!) are hung there.

My table in the polymer area was a donation from an artist friend who got herself a larger table. I basically set it up the same way she did with shelving underneath. The shelving is what holds the tabletop up. I keep reference books, all my supplier's catalogs, my tabletop studio, etc. all within that space.

What a wonderful space. Lots of room, which is what I desperately need! I love the kids artwork up on the bulletin board. I have read that kids artwork is good fung shui for creative energy. Must be working!
