“Flo”
Our goldfish has a death wish. The goldfish, “Flo”, was a freebie from one of those carnival games over 2 years ago. She’s survived a certain amount of neglect and a move from Connecticut to New Jersey, but now she’s seems destined to do herself in. She keeps sucking up rocks from the bottom of the tank and getting them stuck in her mouth. I can tell when she does this because I can hear her clanking the stone against the side of the tank. Most of the time she manages to dislodge the stone, but occasionally you have to reach in the tank and tickle her tummy in a kind of fishy heimlich. I tell you, she’s got a death wish!
I think I need to buy bigger rocks for the bottom of the tank.
