I’m an ipod addict
Yep, I really love my ipod. It’s the greatest thing. Really. Audiobooks make driving long distances seem shorter. I listen to audiobooks from Audible while I drive, while I wait at my daughter’s volleyball practice and while I work in the studio (when I get a chance to do that, lol). I really love that I can also download NPR shows such as Wait, Wait Don’t Tell Me, Says You and Car Talk. I used to get them all through Audible, but now you can download Wait, Wait as a Podcast for free! How cool is that?
Podcasts have opened a whole new world to me. I think it’s just amazing that I can sit in my car, waiting for whichever daughter I need to pick up, listening to a Podcast about knitting, produced by an American woman living in Wales. (Cast On) Another really fantastic Podcast is Margie Deeb’s Color Celebration, a monthly Podcast that talks about using color in beading and generally builds on her fantastic book A Beader’s Guide to Color. Someday, maybe I’ll find a great Podcast about polymer clay.
So, I’ve been in love with my ipod since the day I got it, but now I’m over the moon about it. How else could I listen to such fascinating and esoteric commentaries? So cool.

Hi Libby! I took the liberty of referring to your blog in mine. In a good way. How are things going? Able to do anything creative yet?

I just responded to your blog. Sorry you’re struggling with the iPod. No creative time yet. Some day.

Thanks for the tip about iTunes support-duh! That’s what we use for everything else. I think if I worked on the iPod issue in something other than 14 second increments, I might actually accomplish more. I just haven’t carved out the right amount of time in which to really tackle it yet. I am sure you can relate. I am at the workbench. That will be the subject of today’s blog entry. A hand on my hips, Hmph! pretty much sums it up though. BTW, I enjoy your blog-it’s fun! Evalie
