Spring
It really feels like Spring today. Warm and sunny and my younger daughter is out for April vacation. Next week my older daughter is home so I get to spend a bit (well, more than a bit, lol) of one on one time with each of them. I have a feeling it is going to involve more mall time than I can stomach. 
I retaught myself how to do bead crochet last week. That is a relief. Now if I could just get my left hand to hold the thread and participate I might be able to work at something other than a snail’s pace. I think I’m going to tackle the peyote bracelet in the latest issue of Step By Step Beads this week. I need to strengthen my peyote skills before my class at Bead & Button. More accurately, I need to get comfortable with peyote stitch since I’ve only done a bit of it here and there. I wish I was taking more in the way of beading at Bead & Button this year, but I am trying not to overwhelm my schedule. I’ll be in the Master Class with Arline Fisch at the beginning of the week, then I’m doing Cold Connections with Chris Darway at the end of the week, so that short peyote class is it for beading this year.

Ahh, Spring! I remember Spring fondly! It is well past Spring here. We have a shamal moving in, so the temp is down a bit, to only 95 degrees. The humidity is up. It is definitely Summer here.
