Flo

Flo the wonder fish died last week after a prolonged illness. (I feel like I writing about a person) Actually we really thought she was dying a couple of weeks ago, but she seemed to be doing much better after treatment with fishie antibiotics. Flo thrived on a combination of benign neglect and over attention. She was pretty entertaining for a goldfish. She was a mad bubble popper. Sometimes she’d go so bubble crazy you could hear her across the room.

Bob & I went into the city yesterday. It was a beautiful day. We wandered around SoHo, found a wonderful rug place. They had the most gorgeous rugs full of vibrant colors. It was a great day! Today it’s back to reality, and all the miscellaneous little things I need to take care of.

Registration info is up for the Southern Connecticut Polymer Clay Guild’s retreat Clay ConneCTion 2006. www.scpcg.org Check it out!

Sorry to hear about Flo, Libby, but am glad you and Bob had a chance to spend some time together and had fun doing it! Isn’t it great when we have friends we can ignore for long periods of time, and find they still love us when we see them again? How is the beadwork going? Do you still have hair? Evalie

The peyote bracelet is progressing slowly. It’s kind of boring to be honest. Bead crochet is more mindless, but I can watch tv and do other things at the same time. Following a peyote chart involves more attention so it’s very slow going.

I’m looking forward to catching up with you in June! You’re still going to B&B aren’t you?

Oh, Yes! I will definitely be there in June! I can hardly wait! What classes are you taking this year? Still no beading classes for me-mostly silver/solder/PMC types.
