Smelly Dog
Something is up with Duncan. Just being in the room with him is enough to make my eyes water. And the stink seems to just hang in the air, lots and lots of open windows and Febreeze are not helping. It’s torture. The lingering traces of E6000 fumes in my studio are preferrable to this.
I had a fun weekend at Lapidary Journal’s Jewelry Arts Expo. Good thing the show was pretty small. I managed to do plenty of bead shopping. If there had been more vendors I would have gotten into serious bead trouble. It was a hoot hanging out with Meredith Arnold and Shelly Crossen. Meredith showed us how to make a simple and fun button ring. I bought a bunch of 5/0 triangle beads from Leslie Pope of Twisted Sistah Beads to make reversible square stitch bracelets. (see the picture below) They’re a really easy and fun project. Leslie was a delight. I will definitely buy more beads from her!
