I love going to the performances that the children give-even if ours aren't in them. They are so earnest about it all. Moving is a good thing-so is regular entertaining. Entertaining forces us to clean the surfaces, and moving forces us to tackle the grimy underparts. After moving 18 times in our 21 years of marriage, I am usually pretty good at keeping the underparts tidy. I hate moving!!! It sounds like everything is going well for the move and for the girls. Everything old is soon to be gone. Everything else is new possibilities. Embrace it. Most people never get the chance to wipe the slate clean (and jettison the superfluous cargo). Sometimes I yearn for the frequent moves of the old days. Even though I periodically get rid of craft supplies, they seem to reproduce--where did I get 3 100-lb barrels of glitter?
