I’m in love with a beading needle, specifically size 12 english beading needles. How did I miss these? Last night I started working on Laura McCabe’s Pokeweed Lariat kit. I bought the kit last year at Bead and Button and although I had done some bead embroidery with size 15/0 beads the idea of using them in a stitched project intimidated me. The spiral rope for this lariat is done on a core of 11/0’s with 15/0’s (and one size 11) for the spiral. These nifty needles make it go so fast! I love them. They just flexible enough and yet still stiff and straight too.
See, these are the things that excite me lately. LOL Obviously there’s not much going on.
