We’re ba-ack!!! The worst parts of the move are over, all the packing and truck loading and unloading. I’ve unpacked loads, but there are still many boxes to be unpacked and the POD is being delivered next week, so there will be another round of unpacking and unloading. I think we’ll find that a lot of what’s stored in the POD should be pitched because most of that stuff has been packed for a year and we haven’t missed it.
For the most part I am loving the new house. The kitchen is turning out to be challenging. There’s not as much storage as it first appeared and the stove is a bit of an adjustment. I miss my lovely new Bosch gas range in New Jersey.
The studio is all boxed up in the basement waiting for me to find a contractor to finish a workable space. 
For now things are so busy I am not really missing it, but I really hope we can get the work started soon.
I pick up the dogs today from the kennel. I am dreading the adjustment period. The yard isn’t fenced at all yet. The deck stairs may be a problem for Duncan, and then there are all of Woofie’s health and anxiety issues. I’ve missed the dogs, but it’s been a nice break in a way too.
Well, I need to get M off to swim team practice. If I can find the camera and cables I’ll try to post some pictures later.
