Wow! I can’t believe it has been so long since I posted. Summer can get out of control. I feel like I spend the majority of my time zipping between swim practice and swim meets and coming home to deal with the dogs. Anyway the summer is speeding by and we’re all doing well.
My younger daughter has a crazy social life. It’s so wonderful to be back “home” and have her be active and surrounded by friends. My older daughter has been patiently tolerating us for a two week hiatus from horse camp. She goes back on Sunday for a month and she won’t miss us a bit.
The dogs are adjusting slowly. Woofie is getting more anxious instead of less and Duncan’s allergic to something here, but we’re working on it. I need to call a fence company to get the yard fenced in soon. It has been so hot here lately that we’ve all been happier inside with the a/c on.
The guild had the every other year retreat last weekend. It was great as usual. It’s so much fun to hang out with a bunch of creative friends. It felt good to get my hands in some polymer clay again, but I have definitely lost my creative groove. I need to work on getting that back.
