Greg, the contractor showed up about 10 minutes after I published my last post. It’s humbling how much he can accomplish in a short spurt of time. So between an hour or so Friday afternoon and a couple of hours early Saturday morning he got everything set so that we could paint.
This was easily the biggest painting job we’ve ever undertaken. My husband did more than the lion’s share. He did all the difficult areas on Saturday (the stairway and clost under the stairs) plus the trim and then yesterday he did the second coat on everything all by himself. He’s a keeper!!
