Life’s Little Interruptions

by Libby on October 11, 2006

Due to a large number of life’s typical interruptions I haven’t made any progress painting the doors in the studio or unpacking supplies. Computer problems. Our older daughter had a co-ed party to celebrate her 16th birthday. (a fun time seemed to be had by all and Mom & Dad survived, LOL) Driving to play practice and swim practice and soccer. Our younger daughter had 2 soccer games this weekend. AND my MIL fell while visiting family in New Hampshire and broke her pelvis. She’s on the mend and will hopefully be moved to a rehabilitation facility here by the weekend.

It can be really hard to be creative when caught up in the whirl of carpools and sports practices, doctor/dentist appointments etc. etc. etc. Something to work on definitely. I am in awe of people who work long hours and still manage to be creative.

While I have been too busy to do any actual polymer clay or beading, my brain has been full of design ideas. Hopefully when I finally get the studio all set up I can bring some of these ideas to life.

In the mean time, Happy Birthday to my old man brother!
