Home at last!
Well, I can definitely say that our house officially feels like “home” now. We’ve gone through our last moving box. We hosted Thanksgiving dinner for 15 here. Having a family gathering here was like a final finishing touch. It was fun, albeit hectic. I haven’t cooked Thanksgiving dinner in quite a few years and it’s really easy to fall out of practice. I’ll do better next year. 
The dining room looked great, empty of boxes and spiffed out for the dinner.
The other exciting news is the garage is all cleared out and organized! I was ridiculously pleased this morning to see frost outside, and know our cars were tucked in the garage. Silly I know, but it feels like real progress.
On the jewelry front, I forgot to post a picture of my great save the other day. I was digging in my jewelry box a couple of weeks ago and I dug out a pair of pmc earring I made around 2 years ago. I loved the shape and pattern of the earrings, but I made them too thick, and they were simply too heavy to wear. So, I had a great brainstorm… I could turn them into bracelets. I took the pmc piece off the ear wire, drilled another hole on the bottom, added some leather cord and a clasp, and voila, a bracelet I can really enjoy.
