Five Friday Favorites

by Libby on May 4, 2007

So, I am a fan of aliteration.  LOLJust a post idea I had. On Fridays I will try to give you a list of some of my favorites. To start off, I thought I would share a list of 5 randomly selected links to some of my favorite sources. I am an art supply junkie so it’s hard to pick favorites, but here are 5 of mine in no particular order.

1. Connie Fox - In addition to being a wonderful jewelry artist, Connie Fox has a great store for metalworking tools and supplies. Her prices are generally very competitive and her customer service is top notch.

2. Stamp Camp - My favorite supplier of unmounted rubber stamps. They have a fantastic collection of background stamps.

3. Whim Beads - A fantastic bead store. Great selection and prices on seed beads. Their flip-top containers are a really great way to store seed beads.  Super fast service.

4. Singaraja Imports - Your one stop shop for all sorts of silver beads and findings. Particular favorites of mine include the Hill Tribe Silver beads, sterling bead cones and sterling bead frames in various shapes. Their website seems to show only a fraction of what they bring to bead shows. Check their trade show schedule and shop in person if you can. They are usually at the Ct Bead Society’s Bead Bazaar in September.

5. Woodturners Catalog - A great source for pen kits and other projects that can be covered in polymer clay. Their “Secret Boxes” make excellent small gifts. They’ve also got a small buffer that looks like a dead ringer for the Foredom Bench Lathe at a fraction of the cost.

I’ve got more links, but that’s a pretty random selection of sources for “Five Friday Favorites”. I’ll have to start thinking about what favorites I’ll share next week.
