I am not counting Polymer Clay Daily and Polymer Clay Notes in today’s 5 favorites. They top my list, but since my blog readership is pretty much limited to polymer clay friends, I’ll assume you already know about them. (if you aren’t a polymer clay person or family, how’d you find me? lol) I’ve got 93 blogs in my Google Reader subscription list, so this list of faves is going to be a quick breeze by of a few blogs that consistently interest me.
Artrepreneur - Judy Dunn’s blog - Ok, I admit, I link to Judy’s blog a lot. The writing is fun and insightful. She posts regularly and she makes me think. The fact that Judy is a treasure in person is just a bonus. lol Her focus on the business side of being an artist is unique and personal.
Yarn Harlot - Stephanie Pearl McPhee - If I could only read one blog, this would have to be it. Her writing style is so funny. It helps if you are a knitter, especially since she frequently pokes fun at the “muggles” (non-knitters). I’ve also enjoyed her occasional observations on raising teenage daughters as my family is awash with teen drama and hormones these days too. Stephanie’s a big influence on the knitting web world (knitting blogs are HUGE, in case you didn’t know) and she has helped motivate huge numbers of knitters around the globe to donate to Doctors Without Borders as well as several other great causes. Check out the total dollars raised number in her sidebar.
The Panopticon - Franklin Habit - This is ostensibly another knitting blog, but there’s a lot more here. Franklin’s acerbic wit is always worth the read whatever he’s writing about, and his drawings are wonderful (very New Yorker magazine). If you’ve never read his blog and you have a minute, go back into the archives and read about Dolores. Dolores is such a fantastically funny creation, I won’t even try to describe her. Go check it out.
Louise Hill Designs Blog - Louise’s blog highlights bead artistry. An incredibly talented bead artist in her own right, in her blog Louise highlights interesting bead art in various media including polymer clay, not just seed beads. She’s particularly good at ferreting out European bead artists. Check out the links in her side bar.  Her blog is like a door way to the bead art world.
K*style - A design blog. I love her eye for whimsy, as well as clean and elegant design. Her blog features art jewelry, home decor and accessories. The Saturday Slide Show is very cool. The links in her sidebar are really fun. You could surf blogs from here all day.
Wow, it was really hard to just pick 5 blogs. (and I cheated and included a couple of favorite polymer blogs too, lol) Blog reading can be very addicting. I use Google Reader to keep track of my favorite blogs. It’s really fun to log onto the computer and see who’s got updates right there in one place.
So, have you got any favorites you’d like to share?

Yes, I have YOU as one of my favorites Libby! I’ve only recently discovered the wonders of Google Reader and subscribed all my favorite polymer clayers to it. Judy Dunn is there too ofcourse. I’ve admired her work forever and I love her perspective on things clay and otherwise.
Here’s a delightful French blog http://paroledepate.canalblog.com/ …it was worth putting a translator on my home page just for this blog.
