Today’s 5 favorites is Polymer Clay Blogs. Today’s five are random selections from my Google Reader subscription list. You might be familiar with some and some might be new to you. I love finding new blogs, especially polymer clay blogs. If you’ve got a polymer clay blog and your link isn’t in today’s five, leave your link in a comment. Today’s selection really is random, I’ve got more than 40 subscriptions tagged “polymer clay”.
Studio Miscellany - This is Judy Dunn’s very generous and inspired SECOND blog sharing occasional techniques she’s discovered. I love her latest “Extrusion Variation”. It produces a very cool flecky pattern that looks both retro and fresh.
Art for the Heart - Right now, I am really enjoying Jeanne Rhea’s travelogue from Alaska. Jeanne also very generously shares lots of technical information.
Clay Happenings - Take a trip down under and enjoy Melanie Dilday’s blog showcasing her polymer clay and precious metal clay work.
Exploring The Art of Polymer Clay - Janice Abarbanel is fun to watch as she explores new color possibilities.
Musings From The Moonroom - Amy Crawley really makes you think. One of the beauties of artists’ blogs is the way that you can get a glimpse of both the creative process and the thought process.

Hi Libby,
Thanks for including my blog in your Friday Favorites. You’ve listed some blogs that I’ve got to check out. And your blog is definitely among my favorites.

Libby! What a lovely surprise to find my blog mentioned in your Friday Favorites! I love this blogging system for that ‘finger on the pulse’ thing. Ever since I set up Google Reader to inform me of updates on all my favorite blogs, I feel more connected to the whole claying community and not a gazzillion miles away at all.

Libby,
Thanks for the mention! Even though I’ve never met you or anyone else you’ve mentioned (here or in past blogs), I feel like I “know” them. I love reading your posts and enjoy seeing your work. Thanks for the heads up on Synergy. I’m definitely going to try and make it this year!

Thanks for including my blog! I am using Technorati to find links and posts to the blogs that I read on polymer clay while I am on vacation. It is especially nice to find one and see a whole list of links of the “must read” ones. So as soon as I return, I am going to try to add the links to my page.
Your blog is a great one!
