Purple Falls

My sister drove up for a visit today, so I finally added the beaded strands to the pendant I made for her couple of weeks ago. I’m calling this one “Purple Falls” for lack of a better idea.

Purple Rain

This was a birthday present, and since her birthday was in July, it was time for me to get around to the beading! Stringing those bead strands is slow work. I think I’d be wise to be less picky about bead combinations and just use a bead spinner next time.

That’s as close to working in the studio as I’ve gotten. Unfortunately it doesn’t look like I’ll have much studio time the rest of this week. This week is peppered with early dismissals and days off from school. Then the Bead Bazaar is Saturday and Sunday. Stop by and say “hi” if you’re in the area.
