I spent 30 minutes in my studio today doing a bit of sawing and filing. There’s loads more to do. Cutting identical odd shapes out of 22 gauge copper is harder than I anticipated. It did help when I switched to a different and more appropriately sized saw blade. Amazing how much easier things are when you use the right tool for a job, isn’t it?
There’s been some kind of invisible force field of inertia keeping me out of the studio for weeks now. I really want to be there and I have loads of ideas, but somehow it is hard to cross that threshold. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that my brief foray in today will be sufficient to get me started again.

Hi Libby, Thanks for your kind comments on my tea post! You were wondering where I get all of my teas. I happen to work for a tea company (Upton Tea Imports) so it’s a very convenient source.
Yes, I agree, that the right tools make a job sooo much easier. I recently got a pair of Lindstrom flush cutters and what a difference in my wirework. Making jump rings goes faster and is much more precise.
It sounds like you are starting to get yourself back in your studio. Good luck with that. Ah, the rhythms of our creativity and the challenge of fitting that flow in the daily course of our lives and vice versa…
