Delivery snafu

I am in a very grouchy mood.  I ordered some Argentium wire and sheet from Rio that was supposed to be delivered yesterday, but UPS messed up.  According to the tracking info, they delivered it to my local hub and then sent the package out to California!  I love the message I got, which explains that my package experienced “an exception”.

Argentium fuses really nicely, so I was really looking forward to playing around with more rings.  I’ll just have to wait.  Can you tell patience is not my strong suit?

    Hi Libby,

It sounds like they put it on the wrong truck. Oh geez, to CA? How frustrating for you.
Since they weren’t able to fulfill your delivery in the normal time frame and it was their mess up, you should be able to get your full shipping charge refunded through Rio. UPS should reimburse them and they should reimburse you.
I hope they’re able to turn it around soon and get it to you ASAP!
I’ve just started hearing about Argentinium but haven’t used it yet. I love your new rings!

I just had my crates leave Las Vegas and go to California first before heading back to New England. Maybe they had some sort of hiccup in their computer system. Rio is in NM….not far from Las Vegas.

Oh, how frustrating! It’s not like California is a quick trip, either. To get there and back can take two weeks, if it’s sent via Ground. I hope they’re going to expedite the return trip for you, at least.

I’d be completely devoid of patience, too. Hope you can find something else interesting to do to tide you over!

Hey, I just got a UPS package here in CA. Nope, too bad. No wire. Just a purse I ordered from Ebags.
