<description>So true, Libby, that it's important to keep up a daily creative habit, whatever our choice of medium is. As far as writing goes, I get into slumps where I have no idea what to say on my blog, especially if I'm swept up by my personal schedule and don't have a lot of art to show. One thing I have tried to stay regular with is my Morning pages. I've worked that into my "getting ready for work' routine every morning. It really helps to keep me in the writing rhythm and also drains my brain of all of those distracting thoughts that float through. The hamster wheel is still there but the pace slows down and I find myself able to go deeper which can help my blog writing. One of the reasons I enjoy your writing so much is that it comes from your heart.
