Studio Snapshot - Ongoing Call for Artists
This is just a quick reminder that I am still accepting artists for my Studio Snapshot series. I’ve got at least another month’s worth of artists’ studios to share with you, plus I am going to do one on my own studio one of these days. I would love to keep the series going indefinitely. So, if you think you might like your creative space to be featured, please go to my blog’s contact page and send me an email.
All you have to do is answer a series of questions, and send me some photos (or links to photos I can use) of your workspace. You don’t have to have a fancy studio. You don’t have to clean up. (I’m serious about that. I think it’s great to see work in process on a worktable.) Just show us and tell us a bit about the creative space you work in. The series is open to artists at any level in any medium. I think it’s fascinating to get a peek into the spaces artists go to create. Having the space described a bit in the artist’s own words adds another layer of interest. I find I have a whole new level of interest in an artist’s work when I understand a bit about his or her creative process and working environment.
I’ve been getting a lot of positive feedback about the series. Thanks to everyone who commented! Let’s keep it going.
